George Cotton Sr. is a dedicated community leader and volunteer in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was recently elected to serve as the Board President of United Way for the 2024-2025 term. In this role, he will provide leadership and oversight for the organization's efforts to improve lives and strengthen communities throughout the region. Cotton is a member of numerous local boards and committees, working tirelessly to make a positive impact in his community. He is known for his commitment to helping others and making Pine Bluff a better place to live. Cotton currently works at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) as the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement and Development. His professional experience and dedication to higher education have been valuable assets in his leadership roles with United Way and other community organizations. Pine Bluff is fortunate to have such a caring and involved resident working to improve the lives of his fellow citizens.
