Barbara Goodwin is a dedicated community leader and volunteer in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She currently serves as the Co-Coordinator for the United Way of Southeast Arkansas Helping Hands program. Goodwin has also been a member of the Jefferson Regional Auxiliary for over 25 years and served as the 2024 President. She also serves as secretary to "The Silver Haired Legislative Alumni Association" (SHLAA) and is a delegate to the SHLAA convention. Goodwin is very active in her church serving on several committees and as a delegate to their annual conference. She has one child and (according to her) two absolutely wonderful grandchildren.
In this role with Helping Hands, she helps lead the organization's efforts to provide emergency assistance and support to individuals and families in need throughout the region. She is known for her commitment to helping others and making Pine Bluff a better place to live. Pine Bluff is fortunate to have such a compassionate and involved resident working to improve the lives of her fellow citizens. Barbara Goodwin's tireless efforts and inspiring commitment to service are an example for all.
