Grant Application

Grant Application Procedural Update's

In the past UWSEARK Allocations were not restricted, and no documentation was required for how the money was spent. As the “Modern United Way” moves into the future, there is a need for specific data on the impact of programs funded.

Allocations will now be known as Community Impact Grants.

To fulfill this need, we must now require more information as to how the granted monies are used. We will be asking for data & statistics twice a year.  The required information will be more detailed, but the process will remain the same, Volunteer teams will be reviewing your grant packet, site visit, and conducting a budget review.

We will require information on specific programs that fall under:

  • Health (physical & mental)
  • Education (early childhood thru adult)
  • Income Stability (improving one’s ability to earn a living)

Many programs will overlap these three initiatives.

I’m sure there will be questions. The grant application will be more detailed but not drastically different. Please do not hesitate to call or come by with any questions or concerns. Thank you again for choosing to partner with The United Way of Southeast Arkansas.
